The friendly town of Banff is located just 150 km west of Calgary and situated in the stunning Banff National Park. The town is one of the main bases for skiers and boarders wanting to Ski the Big 3 - Lake Louise, Sunshine Valley and Norquay - which are all covered under one pass.

The closest ski area to Banff is Norquay/Mystic Ridge (10 mins) which is considered to be Banff's 'local hill'. The skiing is fairly limited and best suited to intermediates.
